Y1 Phonics information session

Dear Year 1 Parents,

We are delighted to invite you into school on Wednesday 15th April for a special session all about the upcoming Phonics Screening Check. This will be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about what the check involves and to join your child in the classroom for fun, hands‑on activities that will help support their phonics learning.

Please come along at 9:00am. We’ll start together with a short meeting in the hall before heading into the classrooms to see the children in action—it's always a lovely chance to share their enthusiasm for learning!

We completely understand that not everyone will be able to attend, so we’ll make sure key information is shared with all parents afterwards.

We look forward to welcoming many of you and sharing this exciting part of your child's Year 1 journey!
