Y3 Egypt day

Dear Parents / Carers of Year 3 Children,

Next term, year 3 will be learning all about Ancient Egypt. In order to really capture their imaginations about the time period, we will be holding an Ancient Egyptian Day on Thursday 1st May.

There is no cost for this workshop as it being run by school staff and funded through the school’s own budget. However, to help the day run smoothly we would like to request parent helpers to join us for the morning activities.

Please complete this short form to confirm whether you are able / unable to volunteer for this.

In addition, we would like the children to dress up as Ancient Egyptians - this could be a white t-shirt over trousers with a belt. Please do not feel the need to buy anything special for the day.

To end the day, we would like to invite parents / carers to join us from 3pm so that the children can share with you what they have made and learnt over the course of this day.
